Director Yesim Ustaoglu depicts with empathy and uncompromising honesty the fate of a teenaged girl when she becomes sexually obsessed with a long distance trucker and the promise of freedom that he embodies.

There will be a talk with filmmaker Yesim Ustaoglu on Monday, October 15, 6pm at Columbia University (509 Knox Hall on the SW corner of Broadway and 122nd), co-hosted by Moon and Stars Project and The Institute of Turkish Studies at Columbia University.
